鬼畜Server．HDD 追加

有見全屋共三台電腦的硬碟空間不足，而現在硬碟的價錢又不貴（大概每GB HK$5），決定購入一隻Maxtor 200G 的HDD 安裝到鬼畜Server 上。自此鬼畜Server 共有360GB 了。

原來在Linux 上安裝新硬碟並不困難。步驟如下：
1.關機，安裝新硬碟到機箱內，開機。
2.Linux 開機程序能夠自動找得到新硬碟。在我這個case 中是/dev/hdb。
3.GUI 上好像沒有像Windows 2000/XP 上能夠輕易地建立partition的「電腦管理」工具。唯有自行在Console 內做fdisk 吧。
4.fdisk 完了後做mkfs.reiserfs（即是Windows 上的format）。
5.完成後再把做好的partition mount 到file system 上就行。

舊有的硬碟是使用預設的ext3 file system。這次難得新安裝硬碟，就試試被認為比ext3 更先進的ReiserFS 看看。感覺上的確比ext3 快... 可能是心理作用吧... (汗

I have a compaq presario 2100 notebook. I just installed Fedora Core 2 and i am totally new to linux. I don't know how to enable or install my wireless card. This is my wireless card :BCM94306-M manufacturer is Broadcom. I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me with some step by step installation procedures. Thank you.

Newbie to Linux is NOT recommended to install Linux on Notebook with new hardware. It can be very tricky even for experienced users. Use Windows XP instead.
