為免避免一場無辜的筆戰發生，我有必要立即在這裡談談這件事。這就是香港版的電車男Opening歌曲，由"Twilight"轉了做"Start Me@Starting Love"。

對於這次的轉歌事件，我一點也不感到奇怪。台灣的網友早就提及當地播映時，也是把Twilight抽起了，而一系列的電車男廣告都是用"Start Me@Starting Love"作背景音樂，這早就暗示了電車男的海外版將會使用不同的OP歌曲。

至於為甚麼這樣做？在電視播完電車男後，網上立即引起了許多回響。很多人指責電視台無故抽調原裝OP，似乎新一輪的「動畫歌OP大戰」正在蘊釀中吧(碰巧這是也是由「動畫」所造的OP)。

首先要說明一個顯淺的道理︰電視台是不會無端對外購作品作任何刪改的，因為任何形式的刪改都是需要成本的。刪改的原因概括來說只有兩種，一是擴大利益，二是被免受損。舉例來說，電視台會將一部份動畫歌由日文轉成中文，是為了想令作品更易被不懂日文的觀眾接受，從而令商品更好賣，或者可順勢捧紅/訓練旗下的歌手，這是擴大利益。又例如作品有著超越香港觀眾道德界線的內容出現，電視台就會用改對白或把整部份剪掉的方法去處理，以免被人投訴(其實電視台不太怕投訴，怕的是投訴成立要罰錢和影響商譽)。

但觀乎這次的換歌事件，是將一首內容沒問題的英文歌，換成另一首內容沒問題的日文歌，便完全不符合上面的推論了。在網上看到比較合理的解釋是︰日本的電視台只購買了外國音樂的日本播放權，而沒有購買海外播放權。

很多人也聽說過，日本的歌曲版權十分複雜，曲、詞、和歌手的版權是分開的(這方面我不太熟悉，只是道聽途說)。所以在日本版聽到的外國歌只能在日本出現，海外版就要全數去掉，也是有可能的。照推測，日本電視在發行海外版時，應該將所有不能在海外播放的歌曲換上適當的Background Music，才將整條片送出去，而不是運到本地才再作處理。若果以上的說法是正確的話，大家怪責本地的電視台也沒有意思吧。

香港的觀眾不能聽到"Twilight"著實有點可惜，但其實在網上很易就找到原裝日本版OP來欣賞︰
