有時當香港的電影觀眾，實在很幸福。早前就聽說過廣州的影迷，要專程到香港並即日來回，為的就是進戲院看個飽。這次看電影節的 《蟲師》，日本的公映時間，比這場還要慢上兩天。開場前更有監督親自上台，替大友克洋向觀眾問好呢。
我本身不算是蟲師迷，只看過數期的動漫畫。《蟲師》是講述蟲師銀古，在古代日本不斷遊歷，順道幫助當地人驅蟲。這種蟲，不是普通的昆蟲，而是近似幽靈般神秘的生命之源，只有少數人類才能看得見。而他的立場，並不是把蟲滅絕，相反他會盡量尋找人、蟲的共存之道，非不得已才把蟲殺掉，以保護人類。

說回電影本身，以大友克洋作的名字掛帥，所以開始時還是頗有期望的。故事把「柔弱的角」、「雨後長虹」、「筆之海」、「獨眼魚」混合在一起，再加一個原創橋段作結。每個故事情節大都依足原著，只是解決方法有點不一樣。若是因為大友支洋而進場，希望享受到像《回憶三部曲》之類的科幻感的話，那麼一定會失望而回。這片的特技感覺上較薄弱，特技鏡頭很少，感染力也不夠強。就像見到虹蛇的一刻，觀眾都很難感受到那就是世界上最美的事物之一。
銀古由原著中那個悠哉的大叔，變成了緊張大師，那份臨危不亂的感覺蕩然無存，所以要用一點時間去重新適應這個角色，但小田切讓基本上也演得不錯。但感覺最深的，還是把蟲封印在紙上的淡幽小姐。話說之前看過「筆之海」的漫畫版，但對這角色無甚印像(漆原友紀畫的閒角都很普通)。這次由身型嬌小，留有一頭長髮的蒼井優來飾演，那種淡泊優雅的感就非常討好。繼上次在《蜂蜜與四葉草》後，這次的角色，同樣屬於少說話的類型，但只要她靜靜的待在原地，甚麼也不做，也足以感受到她的美麗。
全片最值得欣賞的，不是科幻特技，反而是鏡頭下的大自然風景。全片主要在滋賀縣的琵琶湖附近拍攝，喜歡欣賞山水的人必定很滿足，但對於不好此道的人，兩個多小時的片長會把他們悶壞吧。
原本還有很多東西要評的，但我不算太喜歡此劇，所以就無謂再花時間了。倒是要說說今屆的電影節安排，問題頗多。原本已經要9:45才開場，可是遲遲不放人進戲院，等到觀眾坐好、嘉賓上台下台，要10時過後才正式播放電影，播完已是零晨時份。還好我住市區，可以坐尾班車回家，可是對住得遠的人，這會很不方便吧。這屆有好多混亂事情發生，希望下屆的安排能夠改善啦。
